Maybe sacked out?  LOL….dang..who knew summer would be worse than the school year?  OOH, I suppose I should have known - I AM the one who signed these kids up for 5 billion things! LOL

soo summary of the past two weeks:

Softball - 1 practice, 1 game, pictures

Singsations (singing/dancing performance group) - 5 practices, 3 performances, 1 canceled performance

Tumbling (Alyssa) - 3 classes

Tumbling (Ky) - 4 classes

Piano - 1x per week

Dr. appts - 1 for Alyssa

Special trips - Museum of Arts & Sciences, Wheels O Time Museum, Farm Park,

Library - 2 x (once a week)

Swimming - today’s lesson was canceled, so we start tomorrow now

We spent Saturday May 31 at the Cherry festival for a few hours after Alyssa’s performance there that afternoon, and then Sunday night Eric and I went out for our anniversary (12 years).  Nothing spectacular - just dinner at a fun Japanese Steak house and then to the movies (Indiana Jones).  Maybe for our 15th we’ll plan and save up for something more exciting LOL. 

This past weekend, Alyssa had both her softball pictures and her Singsations performance at the Turkey festival on Saturday.  I just took her over for the performance this time as Eric really needed the day to finish getting ready for his trip to Europe.  Yep, you heard that right…he gets to go to France and England for a week for work.  Fortunately (for me since I can’t go along) he’s not really getting to see much!  LOL  Mostly just factory tours and meetings.  He’ll be home JUST in time for Alyssa’s BIG performance Saturday night and my birthday the next day (though I’m spending most of it at a photography seminar hehe).  Saturday night after dinner we made a little trip to Sonic for some yummy ice cream and relaxed time with Daddy, and then by Walmart for Eric to pick up a couple last minute things he needed for his trip.  Sunday I took the girls and one of our neighbors to Build a Bear, Chuck E Cheese and then to Barnes an Noble for desert (cheesecake factory cheese cake yummm).

Did I ever mention Eric started his new job (hence this trip to Europe) 3 weeks ago?  It’s like we’re living a whole new life now!!  It’s been so very nice to have him home every day about 5 PM, have dinner with him and have him home on the weekends!!  The girls are so very excited every day when he drives up in the driveway and they hear him.  He’s gotta feel ultra loved when they come running out the door to attack him! hehehe

{Health update}

I had to reschedule my upper GI (endoscopy) now cuz it was scheduled for tomorrow and with Eric not here and no one else to watch the kids or available to drive me home….well, just wasn’t gonna happen.  So I’m rescheduled now for August 12.  Part of me wants to just cancel it all together.  I haven’t had any nausea problems in quite a long time, and when I’ve taken the meds the doctor gave me for IBS, it has seemed to help - sooo maybe that’s the only real problem here.  THOUGH, I did SOMEthing to my foot about 7 weeks ago, and it is STILL hurting.  I’ve been hoping it would get better, but it seems to be getting worse and harder and harder for me to walk on it - I’m limping almost all the time now and walking very slowly.  I may have to suck it up and finally go get it x-rayed or something.. siiiigh…more medical bills….

This week….we have quite a busy busy week…I think this is probably our busiest week for the summer….

Swimming lessons for both girls every morning, Alyssa has Singsations practice and a softball game tomorrow (Tues) plus Tues is our Library day, Wed we only have swimming so we may go to our zoo or the zoo in the next town over for part of the morning, Thurs is swimming and Singsations practice, Friday: swimming, singsations practice (4 hours!), and tumbling for both girls (Alyssa will have to miss hers), Saturday: Singsations practice for 6 hours!, a birthday party that only Ky will be able to go to, and then the big singsations performance that night.  Daddy will be home sometime that afternoon too!  Doesn’t sound as bad here as it looks on my calendar! LOL

Well, with it fast approaching my earlier bedtime, I’ll leave ya with some parting photos of our past couple week’s activities.  I have a couple layouts too that I haven’t been able to post in my gallery cuz SBB has been down over a week now!!! uuuuuugh I want my SBB!  But I’ll post those later since I have about 100 pics to share for now.
