Have I made the right things priority?

“What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it.”

~Author unknown

This is a quote I heard/read from Sandy Puc when I attended her seminar back in June and it has really stuck with me. She used it in her talk about how we should give back to the community with our photography, but it has hit a totally different nerve for me, and with this week as stressful as it has been, it really has been in the back of my mind. Am I exchanging the days of my life and the activities I do for the right things?

It’s been a very long day, and this week has been full of more stress than last and the next two days are just as bad. Wish me luck in finishing them. Eric will be home Saturday, and maybe I can relax a bit then. I pulled something in my back Monday and have had this horrible pain shooting up my back from my shoulder blade through my neck now for a couple days. I’ve been taking as much Motron as I can and have slept with my heating pad on my back and neck for the past two nights. It is much better tonight, but I can feel the stress building up and adding to it now.

Sooooon…it will be better!!

On that note and reflection…I’m off to bed.

Whoa, this quote sucked some air out of me. I think I need to print it out and stick it on my monitor, where I’m most likely to be looking when I need the reminder.

Good luck with the next few days, and hope your back gets its act together! ;-)
