{Fall Frolic}

{Winter Wonderland}

We had another great weekend last weekend.  Alyssa and I finished painting her tea set at the pottery store - now we have to wait for it to be fired and glazed.  We’re still waiting for 4 extra plates to go with it too - so there will still be at least one more day of painting in our future.  I’m hoping we can get everything complete in time for Christmas for her.  We did lots of baking over the weekend too.  Eric was making pumpkin pies and fudge with Kyleigh and I made about 3 loaves of banana bread (yummm).  Sunday Ky went to her friend’s house after Church and his sister, who is Alyssa’s best friend, came here for a bit (kid swap).  The girls vacuumed out my van, cleaned the windows and then played a bit before we swapped back.  Alyssa BEGGED to clean the van! LOL  Most of the rest of Sunday was fairly lazy other than me looking ALL DAY for GS money that I FINALLY found at 10 PM in the VERY first place I had looked (where it was supposed to be) and where I had looked 4 times (Eric even looked there) and never saw it until 10 PM!  How insane is that?  lol

We’re looking forward to our 5 day weekend coming and all the fun festivities.  Tonight we’re taking Eric out for his birthday - HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERIC!!!  Wed night Eric and I will be going to watch a friend’s band perform.  Very exciting.  We haven’t been out in so long, other than dinner.  We’ve been invited to a friend’s this year to join them for their big family Thanksgiving feast on Thursday - the girls are sooo excited!  We may try to go see the Christmas light parade on Saturday - we’ve yet to manage to make it since we moved here because Eric was always working 2nd shift.  We’ll probably try to get the Christmas lights, decorations and tree out this weekend too while it’s actually above 30 degrees! LOL  The girls and I have some crafts planned as well…lots to do in between the relaxing! hehehe

Hope you all (here in the US) have a wonderful Thanksgiving this week.
