I have so much I should/need to do right now, but I just have the “need” to blog for a few minutes.  Maybe subconsciously I think it will help me get myself organized today, or maybe it helps me FEEL like I’m having a conversation with other adults LOL.

It’s been a long week…poor Eric has had to work every day since we got back - he’s off to work again today.  He’ll actually only have MAYBE Labor Day weekend (or a day of it - like Labor Day itself) off between now and October.    He said he’s scheduled to have about 48 hours of over time for August (and he even had the first week off since we were in FL).  Kyleigh has been sick with her ear infection for days, and really misses Daddy - she is such a Daddy’s girl.  She was sitting in his lap on Thursday or Friday just before he was going to be leaving for work, and she told him..”Daddy NO bye bye, NO work”  He said it about broke his heart!  I can only imagine how she will be next month when he is gone for 2 weeks for his reserve time.  When Eric and the girls came to FL last week to meet me after I’d already been there 5 days for my convention, Ky gave me a hug when she first saw me, but then she wouldn’t have anything else to do with me for a few hours.  It was as though she was really mad at me for being gone for so long.  Eric and I both at that time commented on if she is upset with ME after 5 days, what will she be like with Eric after 2 weeks. 

So, Ky’s tempature is finally down this morning.  It’s been staying under 101 so far today - even down to about 99-100 just before she went down for nap.  Hopefully the fever has broke now and it won’t spike back up tonight.  She seems to be feeling much better as she actually ate some lunch today.  She’s barely eaten anything for  2 or 3 days.  She was up quite late last night just so hot and uncomfortable she couldn’t sleep.  I felt so bad for her and so helpless.  It really is scarring when your little has a fever so high and it won’t come back down.

I’m am just pooooped today.  Last night when we were still dealing with Ky’s high fever and her throwing up till very wee hours of the morning, we decided it would be best not to worry about Church this morning - we expected she would just not feel up to that all.  So, Eric got up with the girls this morning and they let me sleep quite a while.  I think Eric and I went to bed about 3:30 or so this morning after we got Ky back to sleep and they didn’t wake me till about 1:00 PM!  I still feel like I need another nap already though! lol

sooooo for today…I need to post some announcements/messages that I’m closing my PDW store.  I intended to post this earlier in the week, but with all the craziness and Ky’s getting sick I just got sidetracked.  Today is my last day at PDW.  I still have about 30 more items to get moved over to SBB.  I finished saving all the new previews last night, so today I need to rezip things and load them to the SBB store.  Next week I will be having an awesome promotion/sale to celebrate my exclusivity at SBB, so be on the look out!

Today I also need to get some bills paid that are due NOW!  All my pre-convention shopping is due now! lol  I need to purchase several plane tickets as well for a bunch of trips I need to make this fall.  American Airlines has a sale right now, so I want to take advantage of that and get tickets I KNOW I’m going to need anyhow.  I have a trip to Nashville in Sept for a board meeting for OPA - though that ticket is already purchased, and then I have two cousins getting married in October.  One I may not get to go to since the ticket for that one is still $400!  yikes!!!  Maybe it’s just me, but I think tickets over about $250ish are a lot! lol  I then need a ticket for Thanksgiving weekend to go to Louisiana as well to be the photographer for my OPA little sister’s wedding. 

Let’s see..what else needs to be done today…  I need to get things ready for my sarah’s scraps newsletter - this issue may be quite a bit smaller since I don’t really have much new product this month with having been gone half a month LOL.  I need to make some ads, banners, and work on some OPA things.  I’m not sure how much of this list will be accomplished since it’s already 3:30 PM and I’m dragging butt today.

This coming week is going to be crazy too as we make the big push to do some final things in Alyssa’s last week of summer vacation!  We have plans to go to the local water park together Monday morning (before Eric goes to work), Tuesday Alyssa has an eye appt and then we’re supposed to go to the movies with a couple of her friends since we didn’t get to go and we may have one of the friends staying the night, Wednesday I have been invited to a little jewelry party in the evening, so far Thursday looks open, and then Friday morning I think Eric and I may go on a movie date before he goes to work.  Friday night is my chat, and Saturday and Sunday Eric has reserves.  Eric and Alyssa are planning their movie night for Saturday night (they used to do these every Friday night before we moved here, but with Eric working nights and so many weekends, they don’t get to have them as often).  Some time this week I need to take Alyssa to get any final school clothing or supply needs.  I’ll have design and OPA work to do as well during the week…so it will be busy.

OK…I guess I need to stop blogging for now and go get to work on this list of stuff…..I’ll plan for a break later to post more of our vacation pictures.  Happy Sunday!
