I think I’m done ENOUGH with my new set up to switch over to this blog now.  I still need to add in some things in my extra pages, but other wise the basic design is ready to go.  Next I’ll need to work on my webpage it self - it’s still SOOO basic.

Anyway..on to a posting. 

So, Lisa B (lisabranka), Kelly (kellbuckley) and I challenged each other to increase our posting at SBB.  We decided the first one to reach their next 1000th post would be the winner.  I think Kelly and I had about 300 or so to go at the time, and Lisa had probably about 400ish.  Lisa came up from behind sooo fast, I had to keep on my toes and post like crazy every day.  Kelly must not have seen what we were doing for a few days and didnt’ realize we got so far ahead of her (hehe sorry Kelly), so anyway..today I posted over 60 posts I think to finally just WIN!  whooo hoooo.  LOL  I think I commented for about 2 HOURS today! OMG…  But hey I won!    Now I win a kit of my choice.  I need to decide what to have them buy me…anyone have any ideas to suggest?  hehe

Speaking of shopping, I picked up a few new goodies the other day (yes I DO need to do more scrapping so I can use these goodies…I’ve been such a slacker recently).

Sonya (soniecat) and Raechel (knightsgal76) recommended these really cool cardboard overlays at OScraps by Windgefluester.  I can’t wait to play with these.

Then while I was already at OScraps, I asked Kelly if there was anything else I MUST pick up.  She recommeded these awesome Thrift Shoppe Frames by Debra Tope

and the 52 week Inspirations by Sue Cummings, Vicki Stegall, and Lauren Reid.

I really need to do some scrapping now to use all my cool new goodies…but alas..I’m also soooo behind on designing things for my stores.  This week that’s what I’m working on.  Lots of new goodies that I can release a little at a time over the next couple of weeks.  Next week I have several store collab and required kits to get done.  As always I also have lots of OPA (Omega Phi Alpha, National Service Sorority - I’m on the national board) things to get done.

Before I finish up my first real post here on the new blog, I should share a couple pictures of Alyssa from this past weekend.  Her birthday was Sunday - she’s now SEVEN years old!  Wow..she’s grown up so fast.  We took her out to dinner Saturday night - she chose TGI Fridays.  Then Sunday after Eric came home from work, after dinner we had cupcakes (I had a few left over from the ones she took to school Friday) and sang to her.  This coming weekend she’ll have her actual party with her friends.  We didn’t get to have it last weekend because she’s having an Ice Skating party and they had some sort of competition last week so the rink wasn’t open for parties.
